Documentary
A true story told with a researched script, a calm narrator and cinematic scenes.
What it is
Documentary, made with care from the first idea.
A documentary lives or dies on its story. We start with research and a script written for the ear, then build every scene to match it: footage, period stills, maps and titles, under a narrator who sounds calm and sure.
Music, ambience and sound effects are chosen and mixed scene by scene, so the film plays as one piece rather than a string of clips.

Good to know
What people often ask about documentary.
- How long does a documentary take?
- It depends on the length and on how much research the story needs; a short film moves faster than a long one. We give you a date with the plan, before any work starts.
- Can you use our own photos and footage?
- Yes, and real material makes a documentary stronger. We clean it up and animate it where it helps, and build only what is missing.
- How do you keep the story accurate?
- We research from sources you can see, and you approve the script before production. Where something is uncertain, the narration says so instead of guessing.
- Can we publish the music?
- Yes. We use music made or licensed for the film, so it is cleared for publishing. If you want a particular song, you need the rights to it, and we will tell you if a platform is likely to flag it.
- How many changes can we ask for?
- Review is part of the work: you see a full draft and we make your changes. We agree how many rounds are included when we quote.
